If Nani had scored that volley that missed the left post by an inch it would have been a good goal. I hate the way that commentators say "That looping header completely fooled the goalkeeper!" as though the scoring player had any intention of doing anything apart from heading downwards and goalwards! The only time players deliberately head it high in the air is when the keeper is off his line.

It was a bit of luck, but United deserve to be ahead imo.

How many shots have the Scum had from around the outside of the area? How many times has Rooney or Nani looked up, seen the goal and had a crack? Arsenal have had two weak efforts from Arse Shavin', the rest of the time they're trying to pass it onto the penalty spot.

Taking chances means making chances. If you take ten shots there's a chance the goalkeeper will spill it. If you don't take any then there's no chance at all.
Not saying there was no luck, clearly was with the deflection. But Parks reaction to flick that ball goal bound was great. Granted it could have went anywhere, but it didn't it went in making it a great flick from Park lol. If he had headed that and it went a mile over we would have said ah ok it was just a half chance but to move his head back the way he did and head that ball in probably the only spot the keeper couldn't get to it with that little pace on the ball was brilliant

I have a reason why Arsenal cannot beat Man United,

It's simple, Gael Clichy cannot fill the void Ashley Cole has left.

Do you think if Ashley Cole was playing, that Nani would be able to cut inside him and whip in a cross. Never, Ashley Cole handled and abused Nani's daddy in Ronaldo and wouldn't have any issues handling this inferiority Ronaldo version

A pointless statistic, because football didn't begin with the Premier League.

I cant disagree to be honest, Arsenal have played like they dont have a pulse thus far, United have been quicker to close us down, where as we have been playing like were lacking passion, were not closing them down quick enough, or moving the ball quickly and precisely enough.

Park was trying to head it down towards the corners of the goal and fucked it up. he was lucky because it went around the keeper, but I would guess he would aim the ball at the bottom right corner away from the keeper and as directly as possible.

I know this is true because most scoring headers are aimed at the lower corners away from the keeper and as directly as possible... so that's what players aim to do.

Wouldn't call it pointless, shows how good United have been since the Premier League began

Good first half, we are controlling the game surprisingly i thought Arsenal would have more possession. Park Ji the big game player got a sloppy goal but they all count glad he's playing. Rooney looks frustrated and fair play he isn't get enough service from the midfield but he needs to be patient and wait for his chance. Nani had a brilliant chance but went wide of the post.

All in all a great half for United but there's still another 45 mins to go and remember Fabregas and Van persie still to come on for Arsenal so it's still all to play for. We need a better final ball because at the moment it's not good enough and we only have 1 goal to show for what was a dominating half. We need to put this game to bed whilst we still have the chance.
