Yeah Macheda needs to take this opportunity and show us what he's got to offer.

Smalling and Rafael are both solid anyway and it will be interesting to see what formation we are going for. I'd like to see Anderson in a CAM role behind Macheda that's how he played at Porto.

Though it's probably going to be 4-3-3 with Park and Nani on the wings assisting Macheda.

Rooney's statement today is ridiculous. He's been winning trophies for ages season after season with United so obviously it's not all about trophies, it's about money.

The only teams who can top our trophy haul in recent times are Barcelona and Inter Milan.

If he goes to Chelsea, Madrid or City then it's because he wants the money because they have all won next to nothing in recent times.

Basically he's *****ing out at a time where he's the one playing like **** and affecting the team then blaming it on the owners. If Rooney was firing on all cylinders then we would be challenging for the title.

The only part i agree with is bringing in top names, not because of our name because everyone wants to play at United, but because of the money we can't spend.

I'm glad your finally realizing the truth, chicharito is the future, chicharito is the truth. Its bad that united is playing this game with this line up away, they cannot afford a loss or draw. Mechada is a good player but I don't see him as a player who can handle lone striker, imo mechada is like berbatov. Not in a bad way tho, mecheda is good at passing the ball and setting up stuff.

But I'm hoping mecheda can prove me wrong and show he's moar then just a support striker and he can step up when big daddy chicharito gets hurt or somethin.
