Ronaldinho was one of the best and biggest names in football a few years ago, he had no problems selling shirts when he was at Barcelona but he's ugly so that proves that your theory isn't true. The same can be said for Zidane, Ronaldo (the real one) and Figo when they were at Real Madrid but they don't have model like looks do they?
