Am i the only person who sees Milito as a fairly ordinary player? He had an epic season last time around but i can't see him doing it again, he doesn't do anything spectacular i mean all i could say about him is that he gets the job done. I wouldn't rate him as a top striker with the likes of Messi, Drogba, Ronaldo, Rooney, Villa, Forlan and Torres.
He's been playing for smaller clubs all his career and he couldn't get into the Argentina team despite his massive season and he's already 31 years of age.

He offers little in the build up, but gets in the positions to finish moves
You always need a natural goalscorer in the team, but players like Villa, Drogba and Torres can do that and offer more.

He is excellent at what he does, but only at European club level
Playing at smaller clubs, and getting roughly 15-25 goals in recent seasons is a great achievement
He also moved from Serie A to La Liga, and was just as prolific
Didn't get a fair crack with Argentina.

Villa and Forlan were instrumental for club and country last season. Torres, Rooney, Drogba are all beasts for top clubs and country and have been consistently doing it for years. Messi and Ronaldo are just ridiculous at what they do.
Milito has been at a top club for 1 season and credit to him he has done well, but at 31 years of age he won't have too many seasons left in him at the top. He hasn't done anything for Argentina either.
