Celtic are in talks with Mexican Primera Division side Santos Laguna about setting up a formal link-up between the two clubs.
Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell has revealed officials from both sides had already held initial discussions and he hoped there would be a formal agreement reached soon.
The link, if it goes ahead, would see the two clubs working together on business and marketing schemes and it could also see players from either side being loaned out to the other.
"We haven't reach agreement yet but discussions are ongoing with Santos Laguna," Lawwell told STV.
"On the back of signing Efrain Juarez ,there is huge interest in Mexico in Glasgow Celtic and this could be another step in us promoting the Celtic name."

One thing you dont do, particularly when Arsenal fans were already disgruntled with the way things were going at Arsenal, is to start flogging your ass to the highest bidder, particularly when most Arsenal fans think your a good/fair player, someone they are less likely to give the benefit of the doubt to because of productive his to their team, see Thierry Henry, Cesc etc, are world class, you dont want to lose those type of players, but when players like Ade start disrespecting your club, your are inclined to think, well *** off then you cheeky ****.
He was never the same player for us or even for City thus far after the AC saga. He turned into a lazy twat, carrying the attitude that somehow, we owed him something for not leaving.
Up there with Cashley, a **** of the highest order.

Ironically, do you remember the chance he fluffed against Ac Milan? it was an easy header from about 5 yards out? it took Cesc to decide the tie (2nd leg) in the end.
I think we saw what kinda player Ade really is the second time he played against us for City, it was Ade in a nutshell, he can be a really good player, or he can be really ****, not to mention lazy.
Ade is a just piece of **** human being, he has all the traits of a ****, look what he did to RVP, then claimed in his interview it was an accident.
