I'm not a huge fan of Kuyt but i can appreciate what he brings to a team. Liverpool need him.
The thing is he is a striker/Winger and that's not the kind of player i want in that position.. you just don't need a technically poor workhorse in those kind off positions. Just not a fan of his at all..

I think a yyear or two in Germany would be beneficial to Ozil right now so he can develop a little more, i think Madrid will have trouble sorting out a team at this rate.

        Thats true.

When he is playing badly, he is definitely less frustrating to watch than say a Arshavin or Berbatov play badly because you can see he is giving his all

Of course i'd never swap Kuyt for Arshavin but nevertheless he is a good squad player. He'd be a good addition to any PL team imo.

AC Milan are lining up a shock move for Tottenham winger Giovani dos Santos.

Corriere dello Sport says Milan want to setup a swap deal with Tottenham for Giovani involving Klaas-Jan Huntelaar moving in the opposite direction.

Giovani sparkled for Mexico at the World Cup, but remains on the outer at Spurs where manager Harry Redknapp isn't convinced by his discipline and application.

The former Barcelona midfielder has also been linked with Benfica.
