That seems like a harsh punishment for Everton tbh, especially considering their losses ended up being only around ?0m above the threshold. A transfer ban surely would make more sense.

Anyway, like Carragher said at least it didn't happen last year, they should still be able to comfortably avoid relegation with the teams down there this year.

Seems silly because relegation isn't gonna help them comply.

I don't really understand the premise of the punishment.

Maybe for Man City and Chelsea although Chelsea getting done would be hilarious since the FA knew nothing and the new owners grassed Roman up.

They should 2000% appeal and fight that to the highest courts

If Man City can get away with it. They shouldn't be punished.
Will be interesting to see how long Man City keeps getting away with it. I've heard rumblings that the hammer might drop. We'll see.

          30 or something.

          Championship would be absolute banter.

If Chelsea did get docked points you can guarantee everyone will moan because Chelsea aren't very good at the minute and therefore not a punishment we would even care about.
lol, would probably do this group of players good after the initial disappointment and unmotivation. They are all young, well the most of them.

Someone like Enzo and Sterling would obviously have to be sold. Maybe Nkunku too, he's relatively still known. The rest are meh and have no sway in the football world other than Reece who is probably going to stay until his tread is bare.

Relegate, come back up. Looks bad on the club but oh well, at least these guys can learn how to function as professional footballers and fight for wins.

The interesting thing is the title implications. For they years they were doing it, they won the league, so docking them points retrospectively would knock them out of the winners spot except maybe the one year they broke all the records.

Seeing how that is not he table, the FA will turn a blind eye to it and continue to attack Chelsea.

People said I was crazy saying Joelinton was good .. look at him now

People said I didn't know anything when I said Eddie Howe is the best English manager... Look at him how

              Give those men their flowers.

Eddie has done a job on that wee club in the north with a guy like Joel into and Lascelles, Almiron etc as starters.

Tbf didn't you say Joelinton was gonna be the next Drogba? lol. Hes only better now hes been pushed half way down the park

Also Eddie being the best English manager isn't a hot take, who else is there? Southgate? Edwards? Stone Cold Sean Dyche? lol

He has been tipped for the England job since his Bournemouth days.

lol it’s only not a hot take now because Potter failed on his step up to Chelsea.

Joelinton was good though, I saw it in him, Howe just used him creatively. I’m claiming it

Fair do's lol It was Steve Bruce that had him first, so not the best start for the poor guy

Forgot about Potter too. He fell off so damn hard after his Chelsea stint has he even got another job?
