English get Ukraine, incredibly winnable game...which is why they'll probably lose now lol

Both of those teams were properly mediocre.

Ukraine might be too s.hit to beat. Like Scotland

How do you like Denmark's chances?

The thing is I suppose is other than England every other team would more than likely get whacked in the final on England's side of the draw.

That's obviously not to see England will get there. At the minute the margins are too fine. England dont concede but they dont score a lot either so a team like Ukraine who arent great have an easy game plan.

Keep it nil nil for as long as possible and if a goal comes defend for your lives. Might get a lucky break or a sending off or something.

From Englands end do they stick or twist with the system? They probably will need another attacker in the team. Scotland snuffed out England and with all due respect they are not very good so Ukraine can too.

Either way I'm happy now. As a football nation we just had to beat a major nation this time or we couldn't really claim to be a big football nation ourselves despite how much we love it and despite the premier league.

          It was a massssive. Massive.

You’re clearly much more of a footy fan then myself, why isn’t Rashford playing? He’s good isn’t he ?

i think there is a few reasons. Firstly, he was poor for Man U at the end of the season.

I think he's such a great young man that I dont like criticise him really because it is all relative. Yeah he's really good when confident and firing but he's not plus he has a niche position of playing left of a forward and that's where Sterling plays.

Rashford also tends to give the ball quite cheaply at times because his game is all about trying to explode past people. And he also has a bit of a habit of abandoning his defensive responsibilities and England are really all about being defensively sound now.

But really I think there is a whole bunch of players in that squad that are better than him. That would be my opinion especially in the context of international footy which is slower and more reliant on technical ability to play in small spaces. Players like Grealish, Foden, Mount if he plays further forward, Sancho and of course the top dog now Sterling can all accept the ball under pressure and get on the half turn.

I think Southgate would play him as a striker if Kane got injured but other than that I think Rashford will only come on if England are desperate and about to be knocked out.

Even if Kane did get injured Calvert-Lewin is a better orthodox no9.

Do you have a favourite player on the squad?

Mate I'm as prone to bias as anyone so Chelsea boys aside (especially Mount and I include Rice in that too plays for West Ham but is really a Chelsea academy product) I think Sterling with his goals is a no brainer but Captain Gravy (Maguire) to me is so important to the team.

I always panic that he might get a red or give a pen away for England that he wouldnt necessarily for United.

                  So yeah probably Slabhead Maguire
