Who can you realistically replace Lukaku with though?
You’re not gonna get much for him, and you’ll be competing with Madrid who will also be looking for a decent striker this summer. As it is Madrid is already gonna outbid United for Sancho this summer, and that’s just for a 19 year attacking midfielder.

I think we could recoup the 60m we paid for him tbh

As for replacing him.. Like i maybe in a minority but i think Martial is very talented and needs more chances upfront..

Rashford was leading the line when Ole first came in and did well/Kept Lukaku on the bench

Lukaku is just not a big match player.. he will score a decent amount of goals vs bottom to mid tier teams.. Best i have seen him play vs a "top" team was the World cup.. Belgium vs Brazil..

Jovic is like 20 years old, Frankfurt just got him till 2023. He isn’t gonna be cheap and I’d always be weary of paying that much for youth that is unproven in the more physical premier league. Add to that, rumor had it Barça and Madrid were also after him and they though his demands were too much.

If I were united I’d wait to see what happens with Poch. If you get him, you get players that fit his style of play. Poch also gets a lot out of players. I’d be patient with Lukaku unless you get a great offer for him.
