Auba signed, now Ozil has signed a new contract.

This has been the best window for Arsenal in a very long time.

I don't mind Giroud. And compared to the bums were linked with he's great. At least he makes that near post run and strikes the ball cleanly.

Batshoes is one of the strangest players Chelsea have ever had. I thought he was crap but he has an o.k. minutes to goals record. It's just that when he's bad it's astounding that he plays professional football.
Hello Sparked, I am well thanks. Yourself?

I wish Giroud luck. Maybe at age 31 he will finally be able to put it all together.

I suggest all Chelsea fans in here have no expectations with regards to Giroud.

Batshoes reminds me of Sanogo. Neither can kick a ball cleanly.

So is this Pierre Emerick Aubameyang deal going through, or what?

But Pep is a football hipsters dream. It is trendy to like him and his high possession game.

I've never really liked it myself although City are more fun to watch than his most effective incarnation of Barcelona. But is seems weird that people want to christen them the greatest side in the world. They could get humbled in Europe. Only Pep sides get called the GREATEST.

They were the GREATEST SIDE IN THE WORLD that Barca team. But I honestly, think I missed the point. They were boring as hell. Literally didn't shoot from outside of the box, get down the outside of a full back and get a cross in. They didn't take corners half the time. All throw ins went backward to retain possession.

I do recommend anyone watch Chelsea coming from 2-0 down with 10 men against them at the Nou Camp and not be pleased for us. They were metronomically boring. They deserved that brutal, brutal robbery. Football is meant to be instinctive.
I say the same of all the top managers. You think Mourinho would do well on limited funds at WBA? or Conte?

Pep has that dutch total football style that can only work with a huge budget. Cruyff was the same and any other dutch coach for that matter. Look how crap Rijkaard did everywhere but Barca. Koeman would probably do excellently there.

The only issue with City is their sponsors. Would seem a bit like Chelsea playing in the Sibneft Stamford Bridge stadium with Sibneft in their shirts.

          I don't really care tbh.

If Chelsea and others overreach to keep up they'll become unviable.
The figures are there in the post above yours. Our commercial revenue isn't even in the top 5, we're underpaid by sponsors if anything. The line about our 'inflated' sponsorship gets peddled by rival fans, the numbers say it's bollocks.

You've lost me. Still dunno what you're on about. That's a leg breaker. The fact the player has had to give a half baked apology for it demonstrates this. If he didn't feel like he did wrong he wouldn't have come out and said.

Obviously it's well known he's a complete fraud as per his tenure at Bayern Munich, but has he now exposed him as the most overrated manager in the entire history of football?

He already had a top 4, half a billion pound squad before he came. Do we really think Mick from the pub with another half a billion to spend on top of that wouldn't have done a similar job (won jack **** so far).
Here's some of the first team regulars Pep inherited:

Joe Hart, Willy Caballero, Bacary Sagna, Pablo Zabaleta, Martin Demichelis, Jason Denayer, Eliaquim Mangala, Aleksander Kolarov, Gael Clichy, Samir Nasri, Fernando, Jesus Navas, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Wilfried Bony.

Average squad age - 30.2 years old.

These (mostly finished) players needed shipping out and replacing after the squad had been left to get old for 3/4 years. The rebuild has been managed perfectly with mostly younger players, meaning we can go back to 2/3 signings a year soon enough.

            City need another sponsor.

I think Mourinho and Conte would probably keep WBA up. Mourinho would probably be alright with an average team he can do his 4 players ahead of the ball at all times rubbish to his hearts content. Conte would play a flat back 5.

              Pep would take them down.

That said it would be sweet relief.

West Brom need to go down. Life's too short for West Brom.

Regards to the bolded - nice bit of casual racism, but you're wrong.

Carry on moaning though, it's funny.
So were is United's money coming from then? the Glazers? City are an absolute disgrace they already dwarf everyone in terms of signings and now they spend another casual 60m on a defender?

Were is the financial fair play? PSG and City need to eat some transfer bans that's a fact

Not sure if this a correct figure..

But take into account there was no transfer fee and we got Mika wages of the books at the same time (probably at least 100k+) and got a player who will be far more influential going forward

                    On what grounds?

Being debt-free, as well as bringing in huge revenue? Please explain what rules City are breaking.

When you get rid of 4 full backs in the same summer it's natural that you'll have to spend money. A couple of seasons down the line when City's young players are coming into their primes, we won't be having to scramble about buying new players and the fees we've paid on players like Walker/Stones/Mendy/Laporte will look relatively cheap in comparison to what others will be paying.

No **** transfers have been rising at a crazy rate since the 90s and even more so when City came in and wrecked the transfer market forcing everyone else to pay ****** wages/prices to compete

revenue? how much actual profit do City make every season? 1.2bn spent since your boy came in in 2008, hmmm i wonder were that money came from? certainly didn't come from City being a well run/smart football club

How does PSG have more money coming in in sponsorship then man United? no wonder you were both banned a few years ago.. they need to do it again
