I think Conte saw that Arsenal midfield and thought we could get away with Cesc in there because they weren't powerful in that area.

Chelsea had more control with Bakayoko. Conte is over-relying on Cesc at the moment presumably because Hazard is unfit and Pedro and Willian both look out of form. Both were ordinary today. Willian looks jaded for some reason. He shouldn't be starting. Whilst Pedro just looks a bit like a dog chasing a balloon again.

Moses should be a viable alternative to both with Zappacosta at right wing back imo.

I don't think Arsenal are a bad team but they are mentally weak. The fact that they have some resolve against Chelsea is frustrating. The won't get a point at anywhere else in the top 5 imo. And I agree with Roy they could have risked more and won.

The do look more cohesive without the two superstars in that team.

Welbeck is a very good player for them when fit.

He's tall like a middle distance runner. Plays like one really. He's decent.

He's both made United better but not made Chelsea worse imo. Bakayoko will be an upgrade for us but United play a different game. Chelsea need their players to carry the ball. Matic is one paced but he can be a midfield metronome for them

I honestly think David Luiz is a better midfielder than Matic.
Matic would have been 4th option at Chelsea probably get the same number of minutes as Drinkwater did so far

Nah, I usually have a lot of banter for Liverpool but I'll be straight with you. Liverpool have either the best attack in the Prem or they are 1a/1b with Spurs.

I don't think any side goes into a game against Liverpool and aren't cautious to Liverpool when they get on the ball.

Thing is, Liverpool aren't a complete side. Even you have to admit, with the blistering attack, there is suspects at the back.

City have a quality side too but they aren't a final product yet. They have individual quality that is slowly coming together.

Even at 1-0, it was a true champion's like display.
A big shot from Valencia, who would've imagined that, and then never looked like they were going behind, even though Everton had a few attempts.

Like you said, a bit more clinical, that game would have been out of hand in the first half.

I don't know how the rest of the season will go but United are dialed in. Rock solid in attack and at the back.

Liverpools attack with Salah, Coutinho, Mane, Ferminho and Gini is SCARY quick. They don't stop running and have skills for days. Their defence is championship calibre along with their keeper. They aren't winning anything serious with huge flaws like that in their squad.
