Yeah i agree...of course people are gonna moan and criticize

But its not just the berba thing its anoying when you hear people criticize people like anderson who are still so young, and have so much talent...Even Valencia coming to united

All i heard was, hes crap, hes not gonna replace ronaldo....

The fact was no1 in the fkin world was gonna replace ronaldo...but Valencia was the next best thing we could buy...there was no trouble getting him from wigan...there was no rediculous amounts of cash involved...yes people might say 16-18mil for a player is alot...but in todays game? i dont think that is....also the fact hes only 24, hes got a career ahead of him....if anything theres profit to be made

It's not like I, as a City fan, can't bring myself to criticise the likes of Anelka or Robinho or McManaman or any of the other wastes of space we've brought in over the years. So you admit he has had no impact in any big games over the past 2 years? you can't remember any because he hasn't.

That when he was needed to step in for Rooney at the back end of the season with a CL and PL on the line he failed miserably vs Bayern, Chelsea and Blackburn? even moaning like he was Ronaldo at the other United players.. vs Blackburn

I remember the last Chelsea game and bayern, i missed blackburn game i was at pompey vs spurs >.<

But apart from that, how do you really expect me to remember how he played in those games? Off the top of my head, i couldnt even tell you how rooney played in those games....the only 1 i remember rooney for is the arsenal goal where he did a nice pass to nani, made a long ass run and scored at the other end....

Im saying hes obviously having a bad season, hes missing things he should be scoring, a 18 year olds been picked ahead of him...Rooneys been prolific....the wingers have been great...hes not had many games besides comin on for last 15 mins etc

He had a great first season in my eyes...a very bad 2nd...so i dont see why every1 is going crazy about he should be sold....every1 wanted him, now they want him gone....its not like we would sell him for much after this season hes just had lol

Berbatov needed to get a game with Rooney to have an impact in the top games and that hasnt happend. The times he does get a game against the top teams, hes played on his own with little support. Like Assasin has said hes had an everage season, thats all, I just dont understand all the critism thats aimed at him. Its so ****ing annoying that even when he has a great game like in Carlung cup final its Rooney that gets all the headlines. The same people who are writing him off also wrote off Nani, Fletcher, n soo to be Anderson. Its not Berb's fault that we paid 30 mill, Spurs were being ****s and City's new found money pushed the price up. He contributes so much to the team when he plays, adds composure, pocession, creativity etc etc. He just needs to grow some balls and start taking more responsibilty and be more clinical thats all.

People who are judging Berbatov are judging him off of the performances near the end of the season where he played as a lone striker when Rooney was injured. If you actually watched United games or knew anything about Berbatov then you would know he can't play as a lone striker he doesn't have the pace, it's not his preferred position.

When he plays with Rooney more often than not he has a terrific game and always grabs an assist. He prefers being a supporting striker not a goalscorer.

He had a good first season and for the first half of this season he was our best player along with Valencia. Second half was tough because he had to play in a position he's not used to for United. I'm not saying he has great games all the time even with Rooney, but everyone has their off days.

Also, i'll say it again, the center of midfield is another reason for our lack of goals this season. There's not as much creativity or service from likes of Carrick so opportunities are harder to come by. Nani wasn't playing great at the start of the season either so everything was going through Valencia. Midfield is an issue for us imo more so than attack. Berbatov has proved himself at various clubs you can't doubt his class, he will come back stronger.

I'm hoping when Anderson comes back from injury we will see the partnership of Fletcher and Anderson next season, that seems to be the best combination in the center of our midfield. It's only a matter of time till Anderson starts annihilating the Premiership.

We do need a player sitting in front of the back four against the best teams.

We need one because Gerrard has the tactical awareness of a child. Hopefully Barry is fit if not I honestly think we are going to have to play Ledley King there.

Exactly, Gerrard's tactical awareness is terrible, always has been, thats why Rafa refuses to play him in the centre in a 4 man midfield, and why England have struggled so badly when he has played in the centre with Lampard, not only is he not tactically aware, his short passing game is average at best.

To think people think its still a viable option to play Gerrard down the middle, shakes head.
