    Real; Carvajal, Ramos, Isco, Jese
    Barca; Pique, Alba, Iniesta, Busquets
Atletico; Juanfran, Saul, Torres, Koke, Gabi
    Bayern; Nuer, Boateng, Muller, Lahm
Juventus; Buffon, Bonucci, Chiellini, Barzagli, Marchisio
Liverpool; Clyne, Milner, Henderson, Lallana, Sturridge, Ibe

Can't be arsed listing more teams, but you get the point

Chelsea and City would be forced to play guys that usually don't start, although given their current position, I don't understand why Loftus-Cheek isn't playing every week anyway.
    Hmmm...interesting.

That probably explains why we are right up there challenging for major European trophies and doing the nation proud alongside the other teams you've mentioned whereas teams that have outspent us ten to one like City and Chelsea have done nothing but disgraced us in Europe.

Barcelona +75 goal difference, tells you all you need to know about the quality of La Liga.

Barca would do the same in the Premier League.

Seriously though, I don't understand the general English mentality towards the Europa League. I think it's a good competition.

Klopp, like most foreign coaches, does value it.

P.S. we're looking to sign Rossiter from Liverpool, I'm very pleased with that if we can get it done.

He had no interest in England as a player, doubt he'd be interested as a manager...especially with the baggage that comes with the teams and the most annoying media is sport.
He bleeds and breathes Atletico through and through. The crest could be replaced with his face and the fans would be happy

To be honest, no manager is a saint including Guardiola. He's had spats with Messi, Fabregas, that Bayern doctor Wolfhaart whom he got kicked out, Robben etc. It's a contrast really. For Simeone, the beast comes out when tempers flare and football becomes a warzone whereas Guardiola enjoys that high line possession based domination.

Madrid settled for 0-0 last week and weren't much better tonight. They were the better team, but if they play like that they will get run over by Atletico, again.

For me it's currently; La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Premier League.
It was perhaps the most abject 2 legs of football I have seen in a long long time. I cannot believe those 2 jokers reached a semi final and 1 of them is in a final. Put Bayern or Atletico in separate brackets against either City or Madrid and we'd be seeing a Bayern Atletico final. City's failure has been touched on many times already but let's look at Madrid. They themselves have been woeful. Their run has consisted of - Malmo, Shakhtar, PSG, Roma, Wolfsburg and City. You give that run to Bayern, Barcelona, Juventus, **** even this current United and that's a guaranteed place in the final. Not only have the opponents they have faced been marginally pathetic but the 2 bets teams during their run - PSG and City - were decided by a Nacho fluke cross/goal and a own goal off Fernando (over both legs played). There is nothing convincing about this Madrid side. I hope they are massive favourites at the bookies because I can imagine the smart fun would put the house on Atletico. The lone blemish on Zidane's managerial career so far has come at the hands of Atletico, 1-0 thanks to Griezmann.

Regarding the second bit of your post, in terms of excitement, the Premier league is above the rest. The football is played at 100 mph but in technical terms I agree. with your list. I think the constant influx of foreigners hampers the development of technical English players although thankfully Spurs are threatening to change that. I mean that you list of the best technical players in the BPL and you'll get names such as Silva, Mata, Payet, Mahrez etc

Guus Hiddink was an utter waste of time.

That disconnect between the Chelsea academy and the first team is huge. Which is why I genuinely advocated Brenda Rogers for the job.

Because he knows the youth set-up at Chelsea.

Conte will come in and have to hit the ground running and we'll be back to square one.

With RLC - his work ethic is lacking. He plays like Yaya Toure does now. He looks class at times and looks like a monster but he can't see out 90 minutes. His development might be a bit similar to Stevie Meeeeeeeeeeee's in that he seems to have physical issues relating to his growth.

I am not that hopeful for RLC. Something about him but there are loads of others that should play. Especially the centre backs at U-18 level. Of course Chelsea went out and bought two complete bums for no reason in their position.

Pffft.... last sunday was the second times i watch premier league this season. i watch it fresh after Juve-frosione game, Juve won 2-0 seem like an easy win isn't it? but is not, bottom tier Frosione doesn't give an inch pressing juve's players all over the pitch, it was hard fought just to let one cross pass in. so many fouls, so many hard tackles the ref give 8-9 yellow card if i remember right. it was hard fought ugly game similar to so many serie a games i watch this season.

then i watch ManU-leicester game, i was stunned by how freely the ball move from end to end, so many runs on the wing, so many crosses. but where are the pressing? where are the hard fought battles in the middle of the pitch? does PL manager doesn't teach man to man marking?? it was fast pace game but in the same time also monotone, Mahrez dribbling skill was good but he's not robben. i was kinda dissapointed with so many crosses and tall players the game didn't produce more goals.

the conclussion is Barca with their elite Fullbacks like Alba, Alves and the world's best 3 wing/forward in Messi, Neymar and Suarez will have wonderful time tearing chit up in premier league

We will see how Conte does here.

Chelsea's midfield is a gaping, bleeding, arsehole of a midfield. Everybody walks ploughs right through it with no resistance whatsoever.

I would agree with the lack of quality this season. And ultimately I think it comes down with highly paid individuals underperforming to an almost criminal level.

Watch Yaya Toure close down Real Madrid yesterday.

Chelsea are the gold standard in ineptitude by there are hundreds of these guys playing poorly. Too much money? Possibly.

I would also argue that Aguero, and De Gea are now the only world class players in the league. The rest have shown themselves up.

So wait Madrid/barca get more cash 130m or so compared to 38m (valencia 2013/14 season).. because they bring more viewers

So you think Hull bring as many viewers as say United? Who got 70m in comparison to 61m of hull.. a team who finished in the bottom 5.. while United was in the top 5

Its a huge difference and no wonder madrid/barca have it easy until they play each other and ATmadrid

The new TV deal will see Utd get in the range of £135million, purely from TV.

The average team will be getting £120million.

If you can't see the problem there, then I don't know what to say. A team like Bournemouth will be getting at least £50million more than a team like Atletico, every season.

There's a reason average like Sterling costs £50million and makes £180,000 per week.

P.s. La Liga have a new TV deal kicking in next season that brings parity among all teams. About €70million on average.
