I tend to agree. Messi and Ronaldo I think are to blame in a way are sort of to blame for 'the rise of the individual'.

Everyone wants to do something all the time. And sometimes the end result is too many touches and no end product.

I was watching Real Madrid and the co-commentator absolutely ripped Isco. He said he takes far too many touches and as a result makes himself a poor team player and a poor player in general. It is true. Loads of players like that!

And what happens - Leicester City win the league. The premiership is on its arse in particular.

I think football has fallen off so badly that I actually genuinely think now - and I realise that this could be quotable - that England might win the Euro's.

Chelsea 2004/05 and 05/06 would win all the marbles now.

Barcas front 3 is as good as almost any forward line in history. You had teams like liverpool.. monaco and porto win the cl not so long ago.. You need some luck to win that competition. I dont think the overall level in the CL is worse.. the defending by City was a joke last night though

Play acting is definitely worse. Unbelievably.

Something needs to be done about it. Need reviews and bans. That more than anything IMO takes the game away from the people. It embarrasses us.

If we had technology the ideal would be to review the incident and then give the person who the play actor tried to get sent off the opportunity to chin him.

Baros - Euro 2004 top goalscorer.

Finnan - one of the most underrated full backs of all time. Absolutely solid defensively and very good going forward, used to whip in some great crosses, loved him.

Dudek - you forgotten his miracle save against Shevchenko?

Big Djim Traore - Legend. Champions League winning left back, took Kaka's soul that night. Kaka was never the same player again after being left soulless by Big Djimi. Also a scorer of one of the best backheel goals of all time...yeah it might have been into his own net but the technique and class needed to score like that still applies

Ya, this is my biggest issue as well. They need a team watching these games and ticking off what looks like b.s. Such as Marcelo's pathetic reaction yesterday. Then have it reviewed and then suspend them. It's clear as day these guys are faking. Once you start suspending players this will stop. I have no clue why they're so opposed to doing this.

If it was up to me - that would be it for Marcelo's season.

In some ways stuff like that is tantamount to match-fixing. It is cheating of the worst kind.
