Barcelona have offered Ibrahimovich to both Chelsea and Man City both turned it down.

No way is Ibrahimovich worth what they paid for him, Mourinho pulled the wool over everybody's eyes. Chelsea will try unsuccessfully to get Torres which is still better than successfully getting Ibrahimovich.

The players I'd want at Chelsea in an ideal world: Robben again, Schneider, Milner, Jagielka, Torres.

I wonder if Man Utd will have a go at getting Robben?

I don't think we will get Robben, his price will have sky rocketed since his magic performances in the Champions League. We need someone in the middle to replace the donkey that is Carrick. Silva/Milner/Modric/Hamsek would be nice but doubtful considering Ferguson saying we will only sign 1 big player, aka a striker.

BTW, Tosic looks like a beast at Koeln, Fergie never gave him a chance but i'd love to have him back from loan if he performs like this:



2 class goals and he's a natural left footed winger, could be the man to replace Giggs. He's scored 5 goals in 13 apps for Koeln. Though apparently they want to make the loan move permanent. I'm going to keep my eye on him if he goes to the World Cup with Serbia.

I dont believe Fabregas is leagues above the likes of Rosicky, Nasri, Arshavin, Rosicky is, or was at least, comparable at his best when on form and fit, as is Arshavin, ONLY when played centrally though, Nasri is prolly not on that level yet but can develop to that kinda player as he he is really starting to show his worth.

If this bollocks about Chelsea trying to buy Kaka is true I'd rather they offered that same money for Fabregas. I'm sure Fabregas wants to go home but it might be another option for him.

I will be pissed if Chelsea spend £40 million on a guy like Ribery who isn't worth that at all, or the same on Kaka who is hugely injury prone. I'd rather try and nick Modric from Tottenham.

It's a weird market out there. The Ronaldo transfer has ravaged the market. Players like Ribery are said to worth huge amounts on the premise: 'well, he's about half as good as Ronaldo.'

Fabregas is the only player that could be available worth huge money.

If Arsenal sell him it might actually be good for them. They already have lots of ball-players: Nasri, Rosicky, Arshavin, Song. They need a midfield enforcer, a dangerous goal scoring striker and strong centre-back and a goalkeeper. So anyway you slice it if Arsenal sold Fabregas and got the four players they need they would be a stronger team.

Thats what im saying, people in here are assuming Arsenal will capitulate when/if he leaves well i know Arsenal will cope with out him, particularly as they have other number8/10's who can play there, plus more funds to replace in other areas.

Nasri did good in the middle when Fabregas was injured i'd have him there unless you're going to buy someone to fill the gap. But you can forget about Rosicky, he has Owen Hargreaves syndrome it's pointless even naming him no matter how good he is on his day.

Also Arshavin on the wings is a great player he's proved that time and time again against the big teams i wouldn't put him through the middle.

Plus if you're an Arsenal or a United fan i wouldn't count on any huge signings this summer. Arsene rarely spends and Fergie is unlikely to spend either considering the debts.

Just in terms of numbers. Arsenal realistically need 4 players to challenge properly for honours if they get them and lose Fabregas - they're winning.

The thing is like Hansen said on MOTD everybody needs four or five players, Chelsea included. So, where are all these players coming from?
