One plausible way to explain Torres' loss of form is that he was never that good to start with.

The thing with Ronaldo is that he is fairly consistent in the fact that he has underperformed in general in big games over the years.

He's just a goalscorer. He's not as good as he thinks he is. The fact that he thinks he is better than Messi is laughable.

I wouldn't put much blame on him tonight though as the whole Madrid team was awful. But he still missed a couple of great chances.
