New age Arsenal fans (like Adam) love a scapegoat and now when anything goes wrong, it's going to be Giroud's fault because we didn't sign a striker.

Giroud was the only player who looked like getting us a goal in the first half - forced two good saves from the keeper and hit the post. Where was Alexis? He was shocking for most of the first half, constantly giving the ball away but he's a new age fan darling so he gets no criticism.

And what about the defending for the first goal? No mention from Adam of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain standing around failing to track his runner.

Or the defending on the corner for the second goal. Giroud wasn't even on the pitch but I'm sure that was his fault too.

The manager is also getting some stick for his team selection but the Premier League have got to be held somewhat accountable. In other leagues, they actually try to help their teams progress in Europe.

That's two or three times now in the past few seasons where we've been allocated an away trip in Europe on a Wednesday night followed by a 12.15 Saturday away game against one of the top 4. It's ridiculous.

We wont bring anything but a complete lack of intensity.

I don't really know where the next win is coming from.

I reckon we'll probably be reduced to 10 men in about 10 minutes and get comfortably beaten. A 4 nil win against hummus salesmen has done nothing put annoy me further.
