Some Arsenal fans have been trying to make the Emirates trophy a thing for years now. To be fair, every club has a delusional section and most Gooners haven't really tried to legitimise the Emirates trophy.

Side note: Told y'all about the MLS. It's not amazing compared to Europe or something but it's certainly better than Mexico's league.

Not too sure about that.

From the little i've seen of Mexican sides from memory they seem to have much higher standards of quality. Plus there's been quite a few cases of players going from the Mexican league to big clubs and doing well, can't think of many from the MLS?

The MLS is fun to watch partly because of how bad/comical at times the standard of football is, throw in some quality players even at the end of their careers and you get a very entertaining league.

What's this designated players rule all about?

Only allowed a certain number of non American players?

If it is they need to get rid of that asap if they want to keep improving IMO.

The more non American players in that league will improve the standards of football and quality of the yanks an all.

I get rinsed on here and amongst my mates for rating Victor Moses.

He was good for us and he has been good on every preseason we have had.

He was meant to have been awful at Liverpool but maybe his face didn't fit and really Brenda probably didn't look out for him as he wasn't his player. I know Chelsea were unhappy with Liverpool. Chelsea incentivise these loan deals so the clubs pay less depending on how much the player plays.

It doesn't make sense to loan players to Liverpool. Their steadfast belief that they are bigger and better than Chelsea adds a further stigma to players going there to gain experience only to rejoin us.

Though to be fair at board level Chelsea and Liverpool are very pragmatic. They buy and sell players from eachother quite a lot and seem to have a good working relationship.

Moses is ****.

Is he meant to have been doing well in pre season?

I saw a bit of him against PSG and he was his usual **** self.
