You don't understand the psychology of two legged tie because Arsenal always put themselves out of a tie in the first 45 minutes

Clearly we were a better side than Monaco. So no, you are wrong. If Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain didn't fall over the ball like a spastic in the last minute in the first leg, we would have lost 2-1 and then gone through in the second leg.

The thing is that once we got back to 2-1, we wanted the equaliser. It's in our nature to go for it. To try to attack, to try to win.
