    UEFA's club rankings currently:

    1Real Madrid CF
    2FC Barcelona
    3FC Bayern München
    4Chelsea FC
    5Club Atlético de Madrid
    6SL Benfica
    7FC Schalke 04
    8FC Porto
    9Arsenal FC
    10Manchester United FC

I think the seeding are done directly from these rankings, so United would be in the 2nd pot.

Got to Europa Cup final last year. That helps their UEFA ranking quite a bit.

Chelsea were leading for 95% of that tie.

          Arsenal lost to Monaco.

          Monaco!
Ours was misplaced arrogance. It wasn't a case of being **** scared to try to finish off a tie against ten men.

bbc sport must frequent this thread.

              Told you we were overachieving.

What a heartwarming tale of the underdog.

Clearly we were a better side than Monaco. So no, you are wrong. If Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain didn't fall over the ball like a spastic in the last minute in the first leg, we would have lost 2-1 and then gone through in the second leg.

The thing is that once we got back to 2-1, we wanted the equaliser. It's in our nature to go for it. To try to attack, to try to win.

Chelsea see a team go down to 10 men and, instead of killing them off like a real football team would try to do, Mourinho hauls off attackers and parks the bus in the hope of clinging onto a result

What a ***ing shameful ethos and you got exactly what you deserved.

Again you will note that I have never moaned about that defeat.

                  But Arsenal aren't good enough.

I don't buy the misplaced arrogance argument. Why would Arsenal be arrogant? You never get out of the second round.

You are a team that is fundamentally lacking something.

Do you think you will beat Chelsea on Sunday?

Because we were playing Monaco. It was a case of being over-confident against an unheralded side.

Mourinho absolutely ****s his pants and goes ultra defensive in home games lol. Was it last year, he dropped Oscar or Hazard to play Azpilicueta in midfield against Atletico Madrid when Chelsea had the ADVANTAGE in the tie after the away leg

He's been found out the past few years in Europe. Dortmund, Bayern, Atletico and then PSG have all sussed the little b1tch out.

I think Wenger finally cracks him come Sunday. It will be the start of Football's Fightback on the domestic front.

I wonder if Abramovich will even put up with the **** for another season with a young, progressive and attack minded coach like Klopp on the market.

Abramovich wanted to create the Arsenal Invincibles or the Harlem Globetrotters of football.

Instead he has to sit in the stands half-asleep watching the club he's pumped billions into surrender 75% of possession at home against injury ravaged teams or teams with 10 men.

Literally every time the camera pans to him...
