Villa are a threat. All of a sudden with players hitting a bit of form.

Okore and Vlaar is a good partnership with a good keeper behind them in Guzan or Given. Delph is a high energy player and his main weakness being moving the ball quickly when playing against an organised defence (but that is an issue only at Interational level). Grealish is willing ball carrier with good pace. Agbonglahor pace. Benteke is strong and can run in behind or hold the ball up.

Arsenal should win but there are match ups there that Arsenal should be worried about.

Metresacker vs Agbonglahor is a complete mismatch in terms of pace

Benteke pulling onto the shoulder of Hector Bellerin from crosses another massive mismatch.

A combination of Delph/Cleverley/Westwood could put a lot of pressure on Francis Coquelin if not 'on it' Arsenal wont get good ball in good areas quickly enough.

Vlaar and Okore are powerful men. I don't think Giroud will get the better of either physically the space in behind will be minimal. Giroud will find it tough.

Sanchez/Ozil/Ramsey/Cazorla will need to be good.

Villa are a pure counter attacking team. They match up well to Arsenal.

Arsenal will want the ball. Villa will let them have it.

I think this is a proper F.A Cup final. Arsenal will have to play well to win.

The thing to look for as Coquelin for me. He has been very good. But Chelsea will definitely target him more than any Arsenal player. We'll see how he does when he is singled out.

Chelsea will "single out" and "target" a defensive midfielder who spent half the season at Charlton

villa on there day can beat anyone.

bit of a dodgey record vs united.

barring injury, need delph benteke and vlaar for the final.

have gabby back, could do with baker, really good cb young cb, injury prone, got his place from clarke then gets injured.

villa 2-0, kind of nervous if samchez plays vs bacuna, ive seen him ripped apart by that quick swansea player.

villlaaaaaaa villa, stay up and a cup, im happy. every game like a cup game, burnley last day of season, they want to be safe before then.

          Leicester are dodgey

            of course we will!

For reasons you have just stated.

Look out for the possession stats you wank over next week.

It's not about possession stats. It's about the philosophy of your manager when he has a billion pound squad of talent at his disposal. It's just embarrassing and you know it full well deep down.

He is widely hated at the biggest club in the world. Only at a scumbag club like Chelsea would he be hero worshipped.

he is winning the league by 10 points.

And managing his resources well and winning games.

I don't really know what you are criticising now to be honest. Anyone would think marking a large player with another large player was a revoultionary tactic.

Mourinho is ruthless and shameless. That is why he is the best. And that is why he will receive criticism which is unwarranted really.

Possession I disregard almost entirely as a stat because even without looking into it I know that regarding the Man U game Paddy McNair and Chris Smalling would have made a lot of passes between them and the full backs. Of those passes most will have been backwards or sideways. In terms of pass risk. Chelsea will have spent that game looking to pass forward and quickly and Man U would have picked the ball up in space and passed the ball around with little pressure in the first 2/3rds of the pitch before reaching the final 3rd.

I would imagine Fabregas's pass completion is comfortably bettered by Paddy McNair. So what?

I am now speculating and you are agreeing, I think. That Chelsea wont have such low possession against Arsenal because we will manage the game differently. I think Coquelin will be targeted. To do so, Chelsea will press higher.

Possession depends by and large where a team wants to put their defensive line. The deeper the line the lower the amount of possession. Chelsea specifically have an issue in which we have a slow centre back pairing. You will not park Cahill and Terry on the halfway line against searing pace. I think they will do it against Arsenal to a degree because Coquelin will be targeted.

Chelsea don't play the same way against any opponents.

My only criticism of any of our performances was the PSG home leg. They should have gone for that. Mourinho and more importantly the players did not manage that game well. But on that note, I would regard that PSG as a better team than Chelsea - overall.

None of these teams in the premiership are better than Chelsea.

Didn't even bothered to read most of that. He's winning a league where the other teams have mostly ***ed up. Arsenal had their worst start in about 50 years and we are your closest challengers. United are in transition and were injury ravaged yet still completely outplayed you on your own pitch. City are a bum club at heart and can't seem to be arsed.

The best? In the last few seasons, his primitive caveman tactics have been exposed in Europe. He had the luck element at Porto and then the surprise element with Inter by playing 10 men behind the ball with a squad that cost several hundred million. He played Samuel Eto'o - one of the greatest striker's of the modern era - at right back

Everyone knows what this **** is about now. I doubt anyone in football ever expected a manager to play the way he does with the resources he has available but now everyone knows such a ungodly **** actually exists in the world.

Carlo Ancellotti ****s on Mourinho by the way. Directly too. He one ups him all the time. Only Chelsea fans and the English media think Mourinho is "the best".

I think Sparked really brought into the mourhino "chelsea is a little pony" crap he was spouting last year..

Its not true.. you have spent billions..

Mourhino is a joke.. this guy doesnt send his team out to win a football match.. he sends them out to not lose. He tried to do it at Madrid vs barca and ended up with egg in his face

Its a small club mentality and basically lost you the game vs ten men PSG who were without there talisman.. after dirty chelsea tricks. Its not just about putting men behind the ball either.. Mourhino trains his players to dive.. waste time.. berate the poor ref at every opportunity.. its his MO

I felt disgusted watching his porto vs celtic.. that was some of the most sickeningly anti football tactics I have ever seen.

I hope Wenger beats him next week.. it will kill jose inside to lose to Arsene
