CB and CDM are the easiest positions to play on a football pitch. I believe because of this, creative midfielders and attacks should always win the major individual football awards.

You could also argue that forward positions are the most "competitive" from a young age, and therefore most of the talent ends up there.

I do agree with Sparked to an extent though, it would be nice to see some variation.

Saying that, I couldn't give a flying **** who wins it.

I have always said centre half is the easiest position. Defensive midfield is harder because the good ones have to make that first forward pass to initiate an attack or if your Matic you just dribble around the first tackler.

John Terry is still the best centre back in England IMO. And he can't even run. You notice the bad ones though - this Mangala chap at City might win us the league. Maybe he is nervous but Chelsea game aside he plays like he is on stilts.
