Im convinced Gallas will go and i fear that we may lose Clichy to Barca as well. Hopefully we clear the deadwood: Silvestre, Eduardo, Almunia, Traore. Also we have alot of players that need to step up or *** off: Vela, Diaby, Bendtner, Denilson, Sagna(?), Nasri(?), Rosicky, Walcott, Arshavin(?) ... the ones with the question marks might be harsh cause they havent had a bad season just expected more.

I'd like to see us sign a GK, CB(regardless if Gallas stays or not), CM, ST. Think Wenger will sign Chamakh, GK and a CB depending on Gallas.

Buy; Chamakh and Frey or Lloris. And a couple of more signings would be nice.
Chamakh is coming, thats already done. Clichy has stated a million times he isn't going anywhere. Wenger has been very vocal this season about buying, especially in the defense, which is something he FINALLY understands. Getting rid of Eduardo is harsh IMO, its his first season after the leg break, I'd give him another to see come back to the form he was before the break. Rosicky same as him, he just came back from a longer injury lay-off than Edu so.

nahhh only get rid of deadwood ....

admittedly though there are a group players who imo are passengers, they're just turning up and expecting the other side to roll over ... these lot have talent but need to step it up.

If Arsenal improve thier defense with a new GK and a pair of new CB's (top class), keep RVP fit, keep Cesc at the club, they dont need to clear many players out imo.

Gallas will have been replaced, Sly(agent United) has to go, Almunia might not be a number 1 be he would not be that bad as a number 2, if he was a number 2 he would not have to been relied upon consistently he could come and do a job for the odd few games, that said i dont mind if he is flogged either, he is still better than Flapianski though.

With Rosicky's injury problems he is a bit hit and miss but worth keeping/taking a chance on again imo, he does not have much of a resale value with his injury history and he is a good player when fit so we might aswell keep him.

Vela should be sent out on loan imo, Bendy is worth keeping as long as he a rotation squad player, as is Denilson, Diaby, altough i would not be against either of those guys leaving, although i think Vela is worth holding onto because he will be a good player in time.

Eduardo is a victim of the system Arsenal play imo, Bendy scores goals because he is a big old lump who can play uptop on his own, albeit not very well, Eduardo needs a partner upfront imo.

I dont think its the broken leg thats effecting Eduardo - its the Celtic game. After his injury he had the support of everyone. What happened against Celtic was he cheated and was completely ripped apart after. He lost the support of non-arsenal fans and was vilified. Alot of people would probably say 'so what, they will forget in a month' but i can't imagine its a nice feeling and it has lead to less fancy stuff on the pitch. In all if what im saying is the reason why eduardo isnt eduardo of old anymore then *** him and try someone with thicker skin.

Wenger is vocal around this time every year about signings, reason being it's season ticket renew time ...we've heard it before "i'm going to the world cup/euros with my cheque book open ..."

I'm just saying dont expect anything different from previous seasons. Chamakh is coming but other than him, i rekon its "1 in 1 out"

The faint hope I have is the stadium debt is basically paid off.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico's national team coach Javier Aguirre has named 26 players to compete for the final 23 spots on Mexico's World Cup squad.

Aguirre on Saturday named 10 who are playing in Europe with 16 playing in Mexico's national league. The notable absence from Europe-based players was forward Nery Castillo, who plays with Ukrainian club Dnipro.

The 16 Mexico-based players will make up the core of the team playing friendly matches in the next few weeks in the United States. Europe-based players will be incorporated when they complete their league seasons.

Mexico plays Ecuador on May 7 at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, then faces Senegal on May 10 at Chicago and Angola on May 13 at Houston before hosting Chile on May 16 in Mexico City.

Mexico travels to Europe in late May for more World Cup warm-ups before opening against host South Africa on June 11.
