Agreed. I'd rate Owen over Shearer.

At the end of the day, they're players who are good in the Premiership like Shearer, Fowler, Cantona or Ryan Giggs - players who thrive in their comfort zone and who looked great when the Premiership was basically a primitive bum league.

And then there are global icons like Thierry Henry.

I agree about Henry above Shearer.

Shearer was a top striker but he was so suited to the Premier League. He would never have been able to do the same abroad like Henry did at Barca.
