Oh yes. Forgot to mention. It's a Duo 2 processor and it's from Best Buy. I like Best Buy the most because there's no commission on sales therefore they don't pressure you as much. Also has a Supermulti Dual layer DVD. As I've said, the base price without warranty or anti-virus is $700. They're giving me $100 off the base price alone which I figured was quite reasonable considering it has 4GB of RAM, 200GB Hard Drive. So the discounted base price is $600 for the laptop alone before taxes.

Anyone think I should buy it without the warranty or anti-virus? Well here's the deal, they said that the anti-virus installation is non-refundable and I have two weeks to return it, no questions asked. But if I choose to have the anti-virus installed (originally for $150 but they lowered it to $100) and then choose to return it I won't get my $100 labour installation back. Also, the laptop comes with a limited 1 year warranty. Does anyone know whether the 3 year warranty is worth it? Thanks a lot to the people who responded and gave some tips and to others who also give advice on this. I Really appreciate it!

LMAO well essentially I thought the same thing. But the anti-virus will probably end up costing me roughly the same if I buy it and install it. So I figured, "let those bastards do it for me".

By the way, how is your Mac? I'm not that familiar with Macs. The last ones I had were the classic Macintosh computers that were probably the originals made in the '80's or something. Just never really preferred it over microsoft. But their commercials are legendary.

Well anti-virus is not something to worry about...........they have changed a whole lot since the last time you used one.

So do you think I should forget about buying anti-virus altogether, or are you suggesting I should just buy it later on and install it myself? Someone said I should get a pirated copy. But if I just bought a $900 laptop I might as well pay an extra $100 to get a legit version of an anti-virus package...

Get the anti virus form a torrent site, why waste a 100 bucks?

Also don't get robbed man if you are planning to use 1 grand for alaptop, buy Quad core, Dual core shouldn't cost that much anymore.
