Skilled 7'0 power forward who can play face up or back to, pass out of the post, defend the post and defend weak side...

Duncan is the greatest power forward ever. I hate him about as much as I hate Kobe, but he's incredible. Fundamentally sound and clutch as ****.

you know i love timmy skills, but he isnt a power forward. he is a center, he defends centers, is guarded by centers, takes the jump ball. when he broke into the league he played alongside david robinson so in essence they played two centers.... technically timmy played the 4. but whatevs....

tim plays center now because he is older and slower and the spurs don't have a decent center to start for them, but he has played pf for most of his career.

he was a center playing the 4 when he played alongside robinson... when the admiral left, skills has played the 5. even when rasho was there.

Mohammed and Nesterovic shared the center duties after Robinson retired and Duncan played pf. I've watched a good 85% of the spurs playoff games in the last decade. I am sure of this.

the next thread would probably be like this: karl malone vs tim duncan who's the greatest pf of all time? sounds nice huh.
