I just don't understand why Bernie Sanders isn't supported by the dems. I just don't get it.

The reason being that the dems know Bernie a Communist, cannot win the general election. It's that simple. If they thought he could win they would openly embrace him but the USA is not at this point ready to vote in a communist as President.

A party is formed around the same ideology so in way they are the same thing. You don’t join the **********s if you’re pro ********, or increased government regulation, just like you don’t join the ********s If you believe in two genders and don’t think men can become women or vice versa.

I'm non-political but your logic assumes one has to be in lockstep with the ideology of the political party they identify with. Not true. There are many ********s that are not pro-gay or pro ********. The black community as a whole is very much anti-gay, yet most are still ********s. There are gays that are **********s because they agree with the economic policies the ********** party says it stands for. In my opinion neither party is really what it portrays itself to be and most of (not all) the politicians use their public office to enrich themselves. The main concern they have for their constituents is keeping their votes.
