Happens every thing year in the sierras and Tahoe area. Salt on the roads. Keep it moving.

Now if the cities were hit like that dont know. But here is all very regulated. Maintenance, standards, proper pay for utilities. you standard communist stuff. We would fair well. Certianly better than texas. Taxes are high here for a reason. Upkeep is expensive.

Elon Musk’s relocation follows 687,000 other Californians who’ve moved to Texas in last decade

Jobs, Taxes, Cost of Living – Why Many Californians are Purchasing One-Way Tickets to Texas

The relocation sweeping the (West of our) nation One of the most interesting trends from the 2019 United Van Lines’ National Movers Study and reports throughout the year is the hefty migration that’s happening between California and Texas. In 2019, of people who moved out of California, 7% of movers relocated to Texas. In comparison, the next most popular state that Californians moved to was Arizona with just 2.8%. Based on some reports, over the last 10 years, nearly one million people have transplanted from California, into Texas.

We watched them go after ***** over Puerto Rico and hurricane relief, even though he send boat loads of supplies that just sat in warehouses for months down there.

So why isn't the media getting on Dementia Joe for not doing more for Texas? Only 60 generators, 700K liters of water and 60K blankets?

FEMA has delivered only 60 generators to assist Texas residents, even though hundreds of thousands remain without power for the sixth day in a row.

President Joe *****’s homeland security advisor Liz Sherwood-Randall said Thursday that FEMA had sent 60 generators to assist Texas localities without power.

“Specifically, in Texas [FEMA] has made 60 generators and fuel available to support critical sites like hospitals and water facilities,” Sherwood-Randall said during the White House press briefing, even as she acknowledged that 600,000 people in the state of Texas remain without power.

Earlier in the week, as many as eight million residents in the south-central part of the country and even in Mexico were without power after a freezing winter storm hit the region.

Sherwood-Randall added that in the future, the federal government would work with states and localities to address critical problems with the country’s electrical infrastructure.

“We know we can’t just react to extreme weather events. We actually need to plan for them and prepare for them,” she said.
Not many gave a **** about Puerto Rico. Why should people give a damn about Texas.

I'm not a **********, but what happened in Texas was beyond anyone's control. **********s or ********s can't control hurricanes, winter storms, earthquakes, or floods. Look at that idiot Governor out in California. His failed and flawed policies created a disaster with wild fires all over the state that couldn't be contained. Water shortages because of his mismanagement of dams and water sources.
Last year half the state was aflame in super massive fires everywhere. Look up how many houses where burned during that time.

It minimal. They protected homes first put out fires second.

Sure I agree with you can’t guard against disasters. But you can mitigate and prepare.

Texas can start by acknowledging the we have a climate problem. And act accordingly. But that’s way to much to ask apparently.
