    What's your problem there?

You have said the same thing.

He's not talking about himself. He's talking about the American people realizing that they are all in this together helping each other.

I am, ironically, more optimistic about the prospects of dealing with the problems we talked about today, as well as so many other problems we have right now than I’ve ever been in my whole career. And they say, “Well, why in the hell would you say that *****? You just talked about all these difficulties.” Well, I’ll tell you why. Because the American public, the blinders have been taken off. They’ve all of a sudden seen a hell of a lot clearer. They’re saying, “Jeeze, the reason I was able to stay sequestered in my home is because some black woman was able to stack the grocery shelf. Or I got a young Hispanic is out there, these dreamers are out there, 60,000 of them acting as first responders and nurses and docs.” Or all of a sudden people are realizing, “My Lord, these people have done so much. Not just black, white, across the board, have done so much for me. We can do this. We can get things done.” And I think they’re ready. And the irony of all ironies is that I think the vehicle by which we’re going to be able to create really good paying jobs. We’re going to be able to provide for significant healthcare. The idea that in the middle of a pandemic, the worst thing since the great flu back in the turn of the century, where so many people died worldwide, is that people are figuring out that we’re all in this together.

No, I don’t condescend to black people like that.

It’s still sounds condescending and pandering.

          That's how you see it.

He was noting how they are doing the tough job while pampered folks like you and him can safely work from home.

But why do those people have to be black? Not only black folks stock the shelves.

That’s how ***** sees black people and the shame of it is he’s done nothing to help black people out of that situation

Yep. I'll vote for the guy that didn't call violent white supremacists "very fine people." Not for the guy that wouldn't rent to black people and called for the death penalty for young black men without a trial. Still thinks they're guilty too.

                  "There's my African American!" LMAO

Yeah imagine if ***** had said that. Except I don't have to imagine ***** saying much worse.

'Laziness is a trait in blacks'
“I have black guys counting my money. … I hate it," ***** told John R. O'Donnell, the former president of ***** Plaza Hotel & Casino, according O'Donnell's account in his 1991 book "*****ed!" "The only guys I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes all day."

*****, according to O'Donnell, went on to say, "'Laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that."

In an interview with Playboy in 1999, ***** remarked that "[t]he stuff O'Donnell wrote about me is probably true. The guy's a f----g loser. A f----g loser. I brought the guy in to work for me; it turns out he didn't know that much about what he was doing. I think I met the guy two or three times total. And this guy goes off and writes a book about me, like he knows me!"

During a meeting to talk about U.S. visas, ***** said that people from Haiti “all have AIDS” and that Nigerian immigrants would never “go back to their huts” after experiencing the United States.

***** called undocumented immigrants “animals” at a meeting with reporters in the White House. “You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are,” he said. “These aren’t people, these are animals.”

***** told Black voters: “You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58% of your youth is unemployed. What the hell do you have to lose?” His claim was untrue on many levels, not least of which was that according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate for young Black people at that time was only 19.2%.
October 2016: ***** often acts like majority Black cities in the United States are war zones. “Our inner cities are a disaster,” ***** said. “You get shot walking to the store. They have no education, they have no jobs.”

Now you can stop pretending that you are bothered by racist comments when your only agenda is to defend *****.
