Gallup Daily shows a tie between McCain and *****.

********s keep trying to push 10-15% advantage for ***** numbers but the truth is this is still a very tight race with the momentum shifting in McCain's favor.

What you failed to mention is that ***** is up in every other poll out there, and up until today was ahead in the Gallup. ***** is still almost 7pts ahead nationallly.

    RCP Average 06/15 - 06/24 -- 48.2 41.3 ***** +6.9
    Gallup Tracking 06/22 - 06/24 2600 RV 45 45 Tie
    Rasmussen Tracking 06/22 - 06/24 3000 LV 49 45 ***** +4.0
    LA Times/Bloomberg 06/19 - 06/23 1115 RV 49 37 ***** +12.0
    Newsweek 06/18 - 06/19 896 RV 51 36 ***** +15.0
    FOX News 06/17 - 06/18 900 RV 45 41 ***** +4.0
    USA Today/Gallup 06/15 - 06/19 1310 LV 50 44 ***** +6.0

Why not post some polls from swing states Jim? How come you only post the Gallup when it shows McCain is actually doing something? You were touting the Gallup a few weeks back, but when McCain was down you got quiet.

The Newsweek and LA Times polls are clearly a joke and not representative of this nation at all. The rest of them are pretty close to within the margin of error. I don't usually pay attention to polls this early, as they are pretty meaningless, but when I saw the 15% figure being touted, I had to look and see what the real polls like Gallup were doing. My su****ions were confirmed.

That's a little more realistic, but remember Dukakis was 17 points ahead of Bush Sr, in August.

True, Gore did win the popular vote in 2000. Last time I checked, McCain had more states in the bag than *****, though the election is still pretty far off, and McCain hasn't even gotten to OWN ***** in a debate yet.

Youve got nothing to worry about...

Son you dont need to win more states you need to win more electoral votes.

Ya think? I believe McCain had something like 165 electoral votes in the bag and ***** only had about 108 in the bag. Yet I still see people saying it's going to be a landslide for *****, funny stuff.
