Denzel HAS to be everybodys #1. If they've seen him in Training Day and Man On Fire and don't put him above the rest they're idiots. Next is a toss up between Freeman & Jackson depending on what type of characters you prefer.

due to the lack of access to quility drama schools, and a racist Hollywood, there is'nt that many of actors to choose from, but I did like Michael Warren though he did have a bright future but he disapeared after Hillstreet.
James Earl Jones has a great voice and screen presents, Morgan Freeman has produced some fine work, Sidney Poitier the father of black actors, but there are many who can hold their own but get over looked fine actors like Louis Gossett Jr, Scatman Crothers, Richard Roundtree, all have talent.
hollywood is really a white mans town, and you really have to push yourself to get noticed, many start out as the token black man.

anyone who says Will Smith is an arse, how can somebody with no talent get so far, unbelieveable
