Yea, same here. I hate the way it went from a more serious looking link to a childlike cartoony one.

Is this the new Nintendo console???

Yeah, not that impressed with this new console. I also went away from Zelda when it got cartoonish. The windwaker one is said to be one of the best ones but I couldn't get into it because of the direction they took

        Yea I agree.

Nintendo was my favorite of the systems growing up but I am waiting for them to catch up to Microsoft and Sony in terms of raw power and graphics capability.

My last Nintendo system was the Wii which I barely played at the time (not because of what it was but because of real life obligations at the time) but the last system I really put in work on was the Gamecube which I loved for RE4 mainly.

I also heard the same about windwaker but couldn't 'get behind my Zelda looking like paper cut people.

To me the best zelda is OOT.

The prospect of being able to play console quality games, not to mention first party Nintendo games literally anywhere with anyone appeals to me greatly.

If it's region free I'm buying it day one.

What do you mean by region free?

Nintendo is usually region locked. That means you can't buy a game in Australia or Europe etc and play it on a console you bought in another region.. I.e China, america.

On a Nintendo console you can only play American games on American consoles. If you bought a game in China you can't play it unless you bought a Chinese console.

I travel a lot and I switch between living in the Philippines or U.S for years at a time so a console being region free is a big deal for me.

The ps4 and Xbox are region free which is awesome.

Didn't know about that region issue, why do they do this?

Secondly, how often do you switch and why do you do it? I have been pondering that kind of lifestyle for a while now, really want to "get over" on the USD by living like a king elsewhere. I have experience living abroad but I wasn't in the tech industry as I am now, and I wasn't as ambitious either so income wasn't a factor when I was "finding myself" out there. I only mention it because I'm not one that needs to be convinced of how great living abroad can be, rather I need to be convinced that I can still do it while investing in retirement, staying relevant in the us markets as far as job prospects when I decide to fully return if ever, and any other issues or risks I am not considering.

They tax hike Nintendo products in other countries. A Wii u for example is the equivalent of 600 us dollars In the Philippines.

They region lock because they dont want you to buy a cheap wii and bring it to a tax hiked country. Nintendo are some evil bastards.

I do it for the change of scenery. I have dual citizenship and travelling is my passion. My businesses pretty much run themselves and I have people I trust that I pay commission to manage my businesses while I'm away.

I went to the Philippines for a year because my grandpa left me some fish farm and agricultural acreage when he died that I whipped back into shape. Now that everything is operational I hired a technician to manage it for me.

How do they decide which countries to tax hike?

Badass man sounds like a fun time out there fish farming.

I'm like you in that I turn into a savage beast too if I am not in some wet at least every two weeks and my theory is that's easier to address out there so that's on my mind as well.

Oh yeah it's easier lol and that's an understatement.

At my peak I had like 10 different girls texting me good morning daily, when one started acting up I just went to the next.
