I've always wondered what the deal was ... as each new version comes out, there are less and less real fighters. If only it could be back like with that one boxing game, Sierra Championship Boxing, I think, back in the 80s, with every heavyweight champion and a bunch of others (Hagler, Leonard, that kangaroo, ...).

i think the fighters each get paid on a individual-contract kind of basis. each fighter has a different deal for what they're getting. but they all have to be paid otherwise its illegal to use their likeness (unless the consent). but if its not on an individual contract kind of basis then i dunno whats up cos a lot of ****ing big name boxers are missing in every single game ea puts out. im sure some boxers just price themselves out for a game, like mike tyson for example. whoever handles his **** wont let them use tyson unless they get a ****load of money, because they keep trying to make 'mike tyson' boxing games but they always blow. except for punchout.

well they got Chico pretty good, but Morales dont look nothing like Morales, neither does Barrera, Pacquiao looks like him but not that much. Maybe ur playing the xbox 360 version, cuz in the ps2 version the fighters particularly the lower weights dont really look like them.

They look fine on the 360. Toney is the only person who is really off.
