Just got The Division for free on Steam

So I bought a second Nvidia GTX 970 graphics card for my pc and it came with The Division for free. My first card last year came with Arkham Knight and then I don't know what the hell happened because I was out of the loop at the time, but then I got ALL the Batman games for free on Steam. I'm guessing that was because of Arkham Knight's poor performance on PC, so poor it was capped at 30 fps I read, so prob Warner Bros trying to make up for that. So basically last year I bought 1 graphics card and ended up getting all 5 Batman games, Asylum GOTY edition, Arkham City GOTY, Origins, Knight, and Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition. Now I got The Division, nice!

Lol, good stuff man. It's a solid GPU, should run The Division easy, especially since it's your second (SLI?).

You miss the division open beta? Was pretty good in the darkzone (pvp).

Yeah SLI, and no I did not miss the beta, I actually downloaded it but never played or anything I was too busy.

Hey I think you've been gaming for longer than me, you would know this, should I upgrade my monitor to 1080p 144hz G Sync? It's 1080p 60hz, I don't think it's a good monitor to SLI. I'm not going for 1440p 144hz G Sync just yet, because i'm not trying to pay $600-800 for a monitor.

I used a 60hz for years, moved to a 120hz about 4 years ago and it's SO much better. So much smoother and feels as though you way more FPS even though you don't, you are just experiencing top specs.

Well for me yeah it is free, because I was going to get the graphics card anyway, and I was going to purchase The Division anyway. Instead I bought the GPU, and got The Division for free. So yeah, it was pretty free to me. That's $60 dollars less for me.

So apparently The Division trailer we saw with the mind blowing graphics on E3 in 2013 was a PC version, since this was not going to run on PS4 and XB1, they dumbed down the graphics and the lazy asses in Ubisoft just can't make one version for PC and one version for the consoles. Basically PC players have to suffer because of consoles not being powerful enough.

Lol you found this out now? People figured that out over a year ago iirc. None of the trailers or footage have been as good as what they first released at E3 2013. They did the same with Watchdogs, it looks awesome in the trailer and the actual game was UNPLAYABLE on PC with a mouse and keyboard and really empty compared to what we all thought.

That being said, the game looks very good even at LOW settings but you do not need a good PC to run it stable on low. I have an i5 3570k/ nvidia 670gtx and I can just about run it smooth enough on low.

It depends on what kind of games you prefer to be honest. I like story games, MMO, FPS and RPG. This is like an MMORPGFPS. Leveling is pretty straight forward, you either do quests or dark zone (PVP) and the missions are pretty fun on hard mode. Good balance in difficulty because I was worried that it would be really easy. The bigger missions are coming out soon (raids) 8 mans, atm the biggest missions you can do are 4 man i believe.
