Whyyyyy? That game was not a good game for the Resident Evil name. It was an entertaining game if you eliminate the Resident Evil title from it and call it Guns and Monsters or something like that.

I'm surprised there is a market for all of this remastering bs. They are all obvious quick cash grabs, surprised gamers keep buying them which of course is the sole reason these developers keep doing it. Doesn't really concern me though so whatever.

It also makes sense for example if you switched consoles from 360 to PS4 and didn't get to play the last of us or Halo 4 vice versa. I don't think I will buy any ps4 remasters of Ps3 games because I still have all my ps3 games and PS3 console. The only one I might consider are Devil May Cry 4 (I sold my copy a while ago and it's a budget game on PS4) and Valkyria Chronicles because it's a incredible game and it needs some move love.
Resident Evil 6 was just a **** average game though.Last edited by Ryn0; 12-07-2015, 03:47 PM.

That's what i'm saying. I won't lie, I played the hell out of that game, I unlocked every weapon possible and beat it in the hardest mode before Capcom added another mode to unlock, I unlocked Hell Mode, which I didn't play because I had put in so many hours already that I couldn't do another playthrough. It was a fun game in general, not a good Resident Evil game at all. It has been the worst rated canon RE title in the franchise's 20 year history. To top it all off, it just came in 2012. Maybe it's just something they want to get out of the way now, who knows. Hopefully it doesn't get a 4k, Virtual Reality Remaster for the PS5.

I thought it was a really average action game and a dreadful Resident Evil game. I am really excited for the remake of RE: 0 though, I had it on gamecube way back when. I still haven't played the remake of the first game, it's on my PS4 hardrive I just haven't got round to playing it.

Capcom is probably remaster it because it costs them next to nothing to remaster such a recent game. I mean how much relative work do they have to do on this game. They figure they'll make more money back on it than they spend to remake it. Sounds like just a quick money grab. RE6 does have some young fans that actually prefer this game over the older one's, so I guess this is targeted to them.
