Hated Ground Zero but i'm picking this up it's getting 9+ from every one so far

I read all the leaks and it really lessened my hype.

I'm sure the game itself will be amazing and must play, and I'm definitely buying it, but the story stands a real good chance of being complete ****.

What I've gathered is that the story isn't all that in-depth, however the gameplay is ****ing off the god damn charts and what's crazy is the amount of absolute freedom you have to decide exactly how you want to tackle each mission and that everything you decide and do is actually important in the game. In other words it's the most player-driven Metal Gear ever.
