    Dark Souls II

    How many of you guys have been playing it? What do you think so far?

    I've been stuck right before the gargoyle bosses.. Every time I enter the area I've been getting gang invaded. Been going on for a while so I'm stuck at like 60% health, and they ran through my human effigy.

    Gonna try to get passed that this weekend.

    All in all, I think it's an improvement game-play wise from DS, but I liked the previous game's story a lot more.. Might change as I progress through the game.

      Yeah, it's very good. Should try it out, getting Dark Souls isn't required either since it's not connected story-wise to II. I personally prefer the Souls series to Elder Scrolls. Really more challenging, and the game-play is just amazing..

      You will die and might get frustrated at the game though.

        i was playing for 2 hours i ran into the first boss and died then lost all my souls, i forgot i hated this game.
        can you send me any gear to make it easier bro? just basic stuff to ease the pain

          I love it so far. They made some changes I don't like, and some I do, but it's unmistakably a Souls game.

          Those gargoyles are mother****ers, and that area is so unfair with how often you get invaded. I couldn't get anyone laying down summon signs either. By far the hardest fight I've had.

            I agree with you. I like the Souls series more than Elder Scrolls. They're entirely different types of games though, hard to compare.

            That gameplay, though, wow. Soooo good, though it can be so frustrating.

              I'm running around with that armor you get after beating Persuer boss. Was in the starting gear before that.

              This game definitely feels harder than DS, I'm about to have another go at the gargoyles.

                Yeah, I generally like most changes so far. Those gargoyles are irritating as ****, they all come at you at once! And, definitely.. I've been getting gang killed by invaders.

                The gameplay is great!

                  No brother. I go from 1 on through. Whether the stories match or not. That's how I roll. What's it about??

                    There's not a ton of story, at least no cutscenes and plot and stuff, they give you setup at the beginning and from there it's more subtle stuff you learn talking to the few NPCs. Basically, both Dark Souls games start you off as an undead person who has to defeat all the evil ass creatures of the world and growing stronger through their souls.

                    It's set in an open world, third person. Hard games, all about the gameplay. Can be frustrating, but if you have the patience and the time to be patient, it's very rewarding.
