    Has anyone got a Wii U?

    I was going to buy a Wii as I never had one and missed out on skyward sword, Mariohgalaxy etc

    But I was thinking I may as well just get a Wii U, but in NZ, they are still fairly expensive

    I know you can download tons of classic Nintendo games and that kind of appeals to me. Just not sure yet

    What good games are on Wii U? Is it worth getting one?

    the mario galaxy games are great, however i had the wii not the new wiiU.

      I got the Wii U for my son for Christmas plus I also have the Wii...
      the graphics are way better in the Wii U plus he could also play all the games from the Wii in the Wii U.

      my favorite thing on the Wii U is the control it brings...
      it looks like a small tablet, which you could either look at it as you play our look at the tv.

        The Wii U did pretty good the week before Christmas. It sold more units than the XBox One, however, the PS3/XBox 360 also outsold the XBOne by about 100k units. The 3DS got some major recognition and outsold even the PS4 by almost twice as much. 1,078,568 million for the 3DS ONE week before Christmas, those are ridiculous numbers. Why no love for the XBOne? That sh-t is being outsold even by its last gen systems.

          I went to gamestop the other day and tried it out for the first time ever, and I gotta say I hate the **** out of that big fking pad screen thing but then again if it was 8 year old would have loved the **** out of it just on the cool factor alone.

              Seriously considering buying the Wii U. Only drawback is my time is short enough gaming on PC, PS3, Vita and 3DS.

              Like you I missed out on the excellent titles on the Wii, but as Jose mentioned the Wii U is backwards compatible allowing buyers the chance to play all those Nintendo titles from the previous gen.

              A next gen Zelda game would probably make it console seller and an auto-buy for me. Can't wait for its release/teaser.

              Those figures really are astouding for all companies not so much for Microsoft since the Xbone is the worst console in terms of sales on that list aside from the Wii.

              3DS sales are immense and the PS4 sales will look scary you'd assume once it becomes available in Japan. Not sure what is going on with the Xbone, perhaps sales will pickup once its library develops.

                To be honest fun factor i think the wii u has the funniest games out and it looks really good. Sad thing is it not getting any support from 3rd party but my kid loves it and me and I know nintendo will support it

                    If these are estimates, your little XBox One isn't doing too good anyway, even being outsold by the XBox 360.

                    It really isn't hard to believe, considering the availability of the XBOne.
