I must be one of a few who really don't give a shît about online gaming. When me and my mates socialise, it ain't through a fûcking TV. We go out, to pubs, to gigs to boxing/football events, to each other houses and watch football. We don't play video games with each other, we're grown men.

Literally if any game I bought again didn't have online play, I wouldn't care in the slightest. I just want games that have a brilliant single player mode, as that's all I'll be interested in playing.

I've done all that online gaming lark. When the 360 first came out, nothing topped those first couple of years which the 360 had online, it was massive, Gears of War 1 was the place to be. But then more and more people started playing, which meant more kids and more ****heads who took it too seriously, eventually I just couldn't be arsed. I've long grown out of it now, I barely play any video games as it is, I've still got GTA V to finish. But will likely pick up a PS4 as I'm looking to stay in a bit more this year rather than go out every weekend.

I'm the same as you, I just want a game that you can have fun with all on your own in single player. Borderlands is a great multiplayer game, yet it's just as fun playing it single player.

The forcing of multiplayer gaming will likely be the reason behind me not playing at all eventually. I'm not even gonna "grow out of it" it's just that gaming will lose what made me love it in the first place, which is that I can just chill in my bedroom trying to beat a storyline by myself.

            Lulz?

You've just proved my fûcking point right there. When you start using childish, internet, video game, phrases, you're out of the man club. Out.

Just got mine on Christmas as well (jumped ship from Xbox) and I absolutely love it. Got NBA 2K14 & Killzone Shadow Fall.. the graphics are just beautiful. Also I'm surprised at the free full games available on the PS store... hooked with DC Universe Online atm!! Best console I've used in the past decade... I had a similar feeling with the Dreamcast back in the day, special console.

Next year has some interesting games, however i'm not sure they are worth getting the PS4 for when they are also coming out for PS3.
Maybe it's FIFA since the camera is zoomed all the way out... or the TV. Because when I played Killzone I was truly amazed by the level of detail, really. Also the animations are just beautiful in both KZ and 2K14. Type of animations, fluidity and realism that you can't find on 360 or PS3.

And developers are just scratching the surface, just like it happens during every console launch. I expect the true power of the console to be taken advantage of in the next year.

I'd wager that no "real" man even uses terms such as "man club" (I presume you also regularly refer to your "man card?") in the first place.

You must be a dudebro douchebag.

I grew out of competitive online shooters a couple of years ago, but I still love to play co-op. Uncharted co-op is cool, Borderlands co-op is amazing, and playing with my brother is the only way I ever cared to beat RE5.

And of course, Demon Souls and Dark Souls have some of the best multiplayer ever.
