No where in Kev's post did I gather him saying Bioshock invented those things.

That's cool. But Bioschock and Dishonored's gameplay and fight mechanics are very similar. So if you like Bioshock, you'll probably like Dishonored. That's all we're talking about here, Bioshock and Dishonored.

I found the two thematically similar but with radically different mechanics and scope.

FYI all three Bioshocks for PC are currently available on Amazon for $15 total. The codes you get work on Steam as well, so you can buy all 3 for cheap and add them to your steam library.

Started Bioshock infinite. It's definitely different than the 1st 2. Almost a totally knew game altogether. Could have been a standalone title by the playthrough so far.

I was going to ask you how'd you like Dishonored but I see you probably haven't started yet.

Nope, going down the line, I'll get there eventually. But as of right now I'm booked, lol. Bioshock infinite is at the plate and Alan Wake is in the batter's box. After that Dishonored is up. There's no way I'm touching the xbox1 without playing all the great 360 games.

Just finished Bioshock Infinite. I must say the ending was one of the best of any game I've ever played. Awesome series but as different as the game was, I liked how they involved Rapture at the end.
