Let's not act like PS3 didnt have YLOD... Ive had a few of EACH... they ALL **** the bed... Eventually they both came out with efficient machines that last.. Ive my slim ps3 for a few years now with no problems... but damnit those bigger glossy ones **** the bed just the same.

i understand most fanboys just can't afford that so they have to get only one and then run the other one down to make themselves feel better.

Well they're not so radically different that I need to have both. That would be like buying a mac and a pc at the same time. They're basically the same machine that both fulfill the same purpose. Why would I drop an extra 500 for no reason when I could use the money for better things like Drugs and strippers?

I'm gonna choose one when the time comes and then stick with it.

I don't mind either controller. I like Halo, but found Black Ops fine too on PS3.

As for Reed, I have the big fat PS3 with no problems. Lasted for many years. It did get problems as you mentioned, but not on the scale of the X Box as far as I heard. My brother in laws would overheat to a point he put his on a window. LOL. I had to get the newer X Box just to avoid the ROD.

I'm leaning even stronger towards xbox now. The kinect 2 is an extremely powerful piece of hardware that tracks every single movement you make and turns your entire body into a controller, and the xbox interface blows the ps3 out of the water.

You can go from tv to games to music to movies to internet just by saying a couple words or making a few gestures which kinect automatically detects as fast as switching tv channels.

On top of all that, Xbox's exclusives blow sony out the water. Sony only has 4 exclusives and Xbox has 18, Including Halo 5, Titanfall and Forza Motorsport, which looks like it has the potential to be the greatest car game ever made.

what idiot is gonna be using hand gestures 24/7 anyways. its gonna looks cool if you show it your buddies, but shts gonna get old quick. you'd just look ****** waving at the damn tv.

It's not just a gimmick peripheral, it tracks almost every single movement you make including your facial expressions, where your eyes are ,what you're looking at on screen and even the fluctuations in your skin to measure your heart rate.

Imagine how much more expansive the immersion will be in future games when you combine this technology on top of the controller and your voice commands.
