The Final Fantasy VII Appreciation Thread

Well, since I'm a PC user, FFVII is probably the only one in the series I can play :P

However, when i compare it with other games of similar nature, it becomes shockingly obvious, the impact FFVII had on the gaming world.

I don't know about other people, but the first Metal Gear Solid hasn't aged at all for me. It's every bit as amazing now as it was when I first played it.

Same here.

I went back and revisited it shortly before I revisited FFVII, and even with the subpar graphics (which were amazing at the time), it's every bit as fun to me now as it was when I played through it back in 1998.

Kojima is a true artist and master storyteller.

FF VII is one of my greatest time suck games. Ever.

Probably in my top 5 all time favorites.

The game was simply epic.
