Modern Warfare 3 Disc Stolen from Factory
Pirated copies are circulating online.


A single disc of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's PC version has been stolen from a Fresno, California shipping warehouse. The disc is only half of a two-disc set, but copies have begun circulating among pirates online. The stolen disc was Disc 2 of the set, and it isn't immediately clear which parts of the game it contained.

One pirate who was allegedly caught playing a copy claims he was fined $5,000 and faces a permanent ban from online play. "Do not buy MW3 before release date. They will come get you," he wrote on Craigslist. "I already went through it."

Activision hasn't commented on the theft. Modern Warfare 3 will officially be released on November 8th.

Nah, people have said that the actual game is head and shoulders above the beta.


The thing with COD games is the franchise. It's not the quality of the game, the gameplay, none of that. It's successful all because of the name.

I'm burned out on COD. I'd play it for kicks, it'll obviously rid boredom but I am not overly excited aka wanting to wait in lines at 12 am for this game. It's the SAME exact game as the previous installments. It's taken the role of Madden and Dynasty warriors. Same game, new number. A little sprinkle of so called new features that does not better the game in any way.

Then you add the horrible levels. I don't like how they design the levels. It's completely too wide open. One building has 13 different entrances. And the emphasis on run n gun. Just don't like it. BF3, you can run n gun, you can true snipe, heavy weapons, squad tactic. Everything in a HUGE stage.

MW3 is gonna be another run n gun installment in a 16x18 box they call a level/stage.

Alot of people are having graphics problems (on PC) that they didn't get during beta, things like artifacts, random green flickering, and stuttering (game slows down). Pretty annoying.

People getting headshots at 800m! My longest was during the beta, 497m, good ****.
