Dead Rising 2 vs Dead Island

My brain is already bored of Dead Island. The really ****ed up with Dead Island when every weapon is a melee weapon. Also the rpg elements remind me of Fallout which I wasn't a huge fan of.

I've never played dead island but it looked pretty cool..Not sure if it'll be better than dead rising 2 though

It's different. There are similarities - customisable weapons, branching story path, skill trees, zombies (obviously) but this is much more horrific, not played for laughs, not wacky. It's a depiction of what you might see on an island overrun by the walking dead.

Never played either. A couple people on my list were playing Resistance 3 and Dead Island. I'm a big horror game fan and I already have Dead Nation so i'll eventually check out Dead Island. Dead Rising 1 had an annoying time limit on it, 2 i didn't bother trying yet, not planning to.

You probably should read a few reviews before buying a game.

I got into a little more but still like Dead Rising 2 more. The story in Dead Island is so pathetic, the trailer was so deceiving. The trailer makes it out to be like this is going to have a great story which it doesn't really. This is just a house of the dead rip off if you base it on house of the dead movie where they fought all the zombies on an island.

It's actually drop-in drop-out multiplayer. It looks for other players who are at the same level as you are and lets you know if they're in the same area so you can hook up with them and play.

This is just a house of the dead rip off if you base it on house of the dead movie where they fought all the zombies on an island.

It isn't a House of the Dead rip off at all.
