Fight night champion new new tuner

I have to say i feel it's getting allot better. though imho i still think the first was still the best but realize it failed in allowing players to trade shots. I still hate hat i can't slip as well as i used to but it is much more improved!

    Thank goodness...

yo can you give me the details on it?

    1 punch KO's back? Cuts/swelling?

I still haven't played cause PSN is down, although I hear it's back up since yesterday?!

Yeah one punch ko's are back not as nerf'ed as before. Also the swelling is back to a certain degree the movement in regards the the characters footwork around the rig is a lil bit better. And you can trade more.

Blocking has been adjusted slightly also I noticed allot more sidestep right crosses would connect threw the guard if timed well.

      Stamina is much more improved!

it feels like the original tuner a bit more but with less extremes. it's cleaner in regards to the action and not as muddy as the second tuner. It's almost a blend between the original game and the second tuner.

I don't jab spam but single jabs are pretty effective when thrown correctly. But i find if you jab to late you will trade more often than not. I'll look into the spam jab tonight. i usually only throw 2 in a row max :/

Just tested out the new tuner offline.

            Pros:
            - jabs and straights don't turn into hooks on the inside
            - more punishment for low stamina

            Cons:
            - jabs still lighting fast. even at ZERO stamina, boxers punch like they have parkinson's
            - cpu opponent stamina recovery still not fixed
            - no one punch knockouts
            - visual damage still pretty low

After all this time, the things that most players want were not changed. Pretty disappointing.

A slight improvement but still a long way off. I don't know why they don't just switch it back to the way it was on release as this was the best version before they started messing around with it.

I really don't understand why they turned cuts and swelling off? It truely puzzles me? I find it more entertaining and fun when there is more then one way to win or lose a fight. I loved the challenge of having to try and win a fight and defend a bad cut above my eye knowing the ref could stop it at any moment. You could truely punish jab spammers when there was 1 punch KO's and TKO losses.

This game had so much potential but EA have just ruined it with these tuners. I heard they did something similar to their MMA game. They listen to people in the forums too much who have no knowledge of boxing whatsoever.

Yes and no it depends on which way you sidestep i find. More often than not when you step outside it's a straight if you step inside it's a hook.

                (Finally!!!)

But Easier to side step and punish. If you time it right you punish if your off a bit you trade shots instead of jab completely nerfing incoming shots.

More flash knockdowns then before. The damage is still there but you have to set up shots over the long term to see the effect. It's spread over a 12 round fight you can't get cut right out of the gates unless your really bad. Hooks for the most part I've found get bruising and cuts more.

After all this time, the things that most players want were not changed. Pretty disappointing.

they turned it down to make it more realistic over a 12 round fight to even it out. to make it more competitive considering you don't have specific blocking. I would always setup a shot to the area damaged to force them to become more defensive. but now your focused more on boxing a full 12 rounder.

Very true i dunno, but they also have to balance out the game play to make it fair for a variety of styles. You can't have counters dictate the whole fight same with spammers... i understand what you mean... but them the breaks. when your good you just have to be more consistent. I find though they have added more subtleties. Jabs more often then not setup your second shot allot better. also when someone throws mad right hand haymakers you can step back and punish, before you where more in the way of the shot stepping back, now is acceptable (depending on reach of course)
                keep it crackin!

Also the thing I'm excited for you can sidestep while throwing combos. very subtle and hard to land at times but when it's done well it looks sweet!
