Gears 3 is not a fps. It's an over the shoulder 3rd person shooter. Will be good though.

Not played Ghost Recon so I wasn't sure. Gears is amazing though. I like Gears 2 the best, but Gears is worth playing first.

Oh and Bioshock is my favourite FPS. It's amazing. My favourite over-the-shoulder shooter is now Dead Space (and Dead Space 2).
