I got in the private beta. ive been playing SOCOM 4 since tuesday. well, its a COD, Gears of War and Uncharted bootleg. in other words, trash. this is not socom.

Sorry to here you think it feels like all of those games. My bet is that it doesn't, that has just been the standard verbage for the past year. If you would have said it looks like a third person MAG with a cover system, I might understand, and agree...Those other games? Don't see it.

Anyway, this game looks great, and fun as hell! Classic mode is where I will be (the last video is a respawn match).

A private beta will go live March 15 before opening up to PlayStation Plus members one week later, on March 22.

Then, on March 29, anyone with a copy of first-person shooter Killzone 3 will gain access before it opens up to all PlayStation 3 owners April 5.

The beta will feature four game modes: Suppression (team deathmatch), Last Defense (a variation on Capture and Hold), Uplink (an attack/defend style match) and the just-announced Bomb Squad.

SOCOM 4 will launch April 19 for PlayStation 3.
