When you look at a race in the bottom right corner there's a garage option and it lists all the cars you have in the garage you can use in that race.

And you can also look at the entry requirements for each race and the typical opponents you will race against so you have a good idea of what car to use.

Youve missed my point,if you ent got the right car in your garage to pick the right cars for your current event is a nightmare ...i mean when you choose an event the game should take you to the place were you can select the right car ...why not point out or highlight the cars you can choose from and were you can find/buy them ?
I mean why dont the older cars appear in the dealerships ? in real life older models can be found in dealerships lol

In many races you can pick any car you want. Just look at the list that shows the typical opponents to find out what cars you can use.

And anyway it's not too hard to figure out what car you need.

thing i dont like is that you cant just get a specific car if it isnt in the dealership, and it gets really annoying when you have to keep checking the used car dealership for it.

there should be a search function that lets you find any car on the game, i want a lister storm, escudo pikes peak and loads of others but i have never even seen them

In GT4 they had way more car dealerships and car available for sale in them.

i want a few cars, toyota altezza, toyota soarer and some others that i cant even remember havnt seen them in the used car dealership in ages.

if you dont already do the season event races, you can get atleast 1.5 mil for doing the last race out of the 5, best way to make money although you only get to do it once

How do you have difficulty in picking the car for the races?

All I want Polyphony Digital to do is release an update where you have an option to save after a race when you're in a championship and have the option to save whenever you want during a endurance race and continue from there next time you play.

This is the first Gran Turismo i've played since the original. Peer pressured my buddy into buying and tuning up the SRT-8 Challenger. Man this game is fun.
