Also you can just drag a hoe by the rope on your horse until you see a pack of wolves and release. Same results.

All the side missions are purple, you gotta do those man.

Also, if you're browsing some of the outfits and what you need to do to unlock it, press square and it will show hints on the map or more purple areas.

For example I just unlocked the Bandito outfit which helps you blend with the Mexicans. Under the bandito outfit there are like 6 things you need to do in order to get it.

Well that was the first day I had the game, I didn't really know where to go to do the missions.

But, I've been doing all the story stuff now, I made it to Mexico 2 days ago, and have been doing bounties and missions down there.
