I've played Batman Arkaham Asylum on my ps3, there's a total difference. I know you may think wow thats nerdy, but theirs a huge difference. Playstation 3 can't even do 1920x resolution anyways.Last edited by Rick Grimes; 05-22-2010, 08:54 PM.

Graphics is a nice plus, but far from everything.
Good challenging ****ty looking game >> Boring Generic good looking game.

Actually, Tiles do break. I've done it in game, both consoles have anti-aliasing (though the xbox does it slightly better in this game but it does have some blurrier textures) and you are joking if you think either my xbox or playstation can't render flags blowing in the wind.
There is not a HUGE difference, the difference is miniscule. I can run Dx10 and have a decent graphics card (enough to play the first crysis anyway) and I still prefer to play games on my playstation because I can sit on the couch and am not 2 inches away from the screen, I also have friends....
Who cares about 1920x resolution, unless you have a 50 inch monitor 1080p will do you fine more than fine infact. I have a 32" HDTV and I'd prefer playing over than even if I had to sacrifice an extra few pixels. Infact the only game I own for PC is Crysis.... and Rollar Coaster Tycoon.
Let's be real, the only games that people actually want to play on PC are RTS , MMO's and FPS. The market for PC games is skrinking rapidly. Even FPS sell more on consoles despite the install base being much smaller than on PC. The COD: MW2 sales for PC accounted for about 5% of the total sales of the game even without dedicated servers COD is still the most popular PC FPS out right now (I don't know whether counter strike is still the most played FPS but regardless I can run that ona 5 year old PC so the point is moot)
So despite the fact that with a PC I can render smoke a little better or the jaggies aren't as bad if I stand two inches away from my TV people prefer to play games on console. The biggest selling game to come out on PC this year will be either starcraft 2 of the WOW: expansion or the new COD game. It proves my point. Thats 3 tried and tested franchises, there is no innovation coming from the PC gaming market just better graphics and in 6 months my PC rig will be obsolete and I won't care, because I don't need to play Crysis 2 as it's coming out for my Console.
