Where have all the ps3 gone?

I remember about a 2-3 weeks ago i went with my boy cause he wanted to buy a ps3, we went to walmart, target, & best buys and they were all sold out, a guy working at target said they hadn't gotten a shipment in a few months and that no target in the area had it. I'm guessing they're pull them in anticipation of releasing a ps3 with "move" or whatever the hell it's called. anyone have any feedback on this?

Get a gaming pc, and get a really good one. A high-end graphics card and a quad-core cpu. Right now I'm on a dual-core but wish I was on a quad-core. My current video card is Nvidia 470gtx. It's nasty.

ps3 is selling extremely well right now...their slowly taking their spot back at the top..

Reserve one at gamestop. I had to in March. I reserved one and got hit up 2 weeks later.

Same thing happened to me when I took one of my cousins shopping for his ps3. At the time I thought they were about to release a new sku of PS3's and that they were letting the current supply of "soon to be old model" liquidate. Turns out I was wrong since this has been going on for at least 3-4 months now.

They're close to toping the Xbox for NPD sales in April. Slowly is right when you compare it to the Wii. It's not getting that title anytime soon.

current ps3 slims are being fazed out. too make way for a new ps3 slim models CECH-2101A and B that have smaller gpu and cpu 40nm, more cost efficient to make and use less electricity. less chance of getting YLOD. just bought one yesterday at gamestop 120gb CECH-2101A they have netflix printed on the box. not the sticker
